Urban Adventures Do you crane your neck for a better view of graffiti-covered overpasses? Do you keep an extra pair of hiking boots and a camera in your trunk 'just in case'? Interested? Join our hearty crew of Urban Adventurers. The secret to U.A.'s success: Our Leaders and our Members. Our high quality participants know their duties to RSVP and to prepare for events, bringing appropriate gear, water, and memory cards! Participants RSVP for Urban Exploration excursions based on their interest and skills in relation to different event levels. Please take a moment to check out our About Us page for more details. Past events include hikes, bike-rides, kickball at the zoo, beach luaus, ghost towns, concerts, movies, BBQ's, swing dancing, pub crawls, trips to the fairs...etc. Our Photos show the variety of events offered. Our next meeting:
UA Bike Ride - Long Beach to Seal Beach
Hells yeah, buds. The warm, sunny, southern California weather is here and we're going to kick it off with a nice bike ride along the beach.
We will start somewhere near the mouth of the LA river in Long Beach, ride along the beach boardwalk, do some street riding as we pass through Belmont Shores and Naples and on to Seal Beach where we'll stop for lunch at one of the many eateries before heading back. Read more
